Sounds of Silence (Stone# 1)

The hum of the PC, the sound of chirping birds,
 the whisper of the wind against the trees,
The rustle of the pages
 as my son turned the pages of his book,
 the thump of footsteps from the floor above,
the clamour of happy kids outside,
A door being slammed shut somewhere...
