The spatula slicing through the splattering stew
a pinch of this, a dash of that...
simmering low
the aroma just right
not too pungent, not too bland...
I'm placing my pile of stones here, some are rough, grainy gravel, while some are unsightly cumbersome rocks, but they form my treasure chest...

Ok Arunima, I confess, actually it was Rawa upma/semolina khichdi, and here I was literally slicing through the goey mass, and the 'stone' crystallised! Now, i was not able to find an appropriate adjective for the consistency of the khichdi and I settled for alliteration with the letter 's'.
